Everything you need to run micksoiza.com day to day. There's a video walkthrough in Adding New Work, step 01. The written steps are here for when you just need a reminder.

One thing to know first. The design runs on custom code, so the editor won't always match the live site exactly. After any change, save, then check the page on the live site in a private browser window. When you're logged in, Squarespace sends you to the editor instead.

:lebureau-empty-dot-brown:Adding New Work

The easiest way to add more work to either website is to simply duplicate a previous project. Pick a film that's close to the new one (the same number of extra films, and BTS or stills to match), copy it, then swap the content over.

STEP (01)

Duplicate it

In Pages, open Work and click the arrow to see the list. Hover the film you're copying, click the three dots, then Settings. At the bottom of the General tab, click Duplicate.

STEP (02)

Set the copy to Draft

In the copy's settings, open Status and set it to Draft. It stays hidden from visitors while you work on it, so you can take your time.

STEP (03)

Update the settings

In the General tab:

STEP (04)

Update the SEO tab

Title in the format "Film Name for Client", and the first line of the synopsis as the description.

STEP (05)

Update the page itself

Close settings, click the film to open it, then click Edit.

STEP (06)

Go live

Back in the film's settings, open Status and set it to Published. Then drag it into place in the Work list.
